2025 BRINGS CHANGES TO HELPING AMC FAMILIES

Helping AMC Families is a small organization started by Team AMC Ana in 2020 and runs with the assistance of two additional board members, Sara and Chrystal. Our organization started strong, with a wealth of funding received largely by many followers of the Team AMC Ana family. We have worked hard to continue donating $5000 awards each month to AMCers and AMC families since our first award recipient in 2021.

Unfortunately, 2024 brought with it a number of personal challenges for Team AMC Ana. We had to slow our online and nonprofit activity and thus funding also slowed significantly. While we are in the process of recovering from all of the changes in our personal life from 2024 and plan to resume financial assistance awards in 2025, we will need to make some accommodations for the reduced funding by restructuring the way our organization awards financial assistance to qualified AMCers and AMC families.

At this time, we will be pausing our acceptance of applications in order to restructure our application and reorganize our award process with the intention to reopen in spring of 2025. If you are interested in applying for financial assistance in 2025, please check back for news and information. The ability to donate to our organization continues and all donations received will (as always) be applied towards helping AMCers and AMC families with their medical travel and medical needs once we begin awarding recipients again.
